I looked at Twitter with my morning coffee and one morning a blogger named Vishwajeet asked if I liked the new Twitter layout. The think I like about Facebook though, is that the cover photo stays the same size no matter how wide your screen is.

The profile header is now 1500 pixels across and the profile pictures are now 400×400 which is bigger than before. And to be fair, there's a lot to dislike about new Twitter; everything that you hate about the app version is now there on the desktop. The header area does get taller, the wider the screen is, but it doesn’t maintain the 3:1 ratio of the 1500x500px image perfectly. It makes things super easy to retweet something you shared before with new text! Twitter does recommend that profile photos are 400×400 though, never know when someone might click on your photo for a close-up.
