The sites are in a semi-wooded setting.In the heart of some of Fundy’s most spectacular coastal wilderness, Point Wolfe campground provides a simplified front country camping experience with serviced and unserviced sites and fire pits. This campground has serviced and unserviced sites with campfire pits. Even though it filled up, it never felt crowded.i love the fact that there are so many option for how we want to spend the night to camp there… i am personally interested to try to stay at the otentik one. They also have large dish-washing sinks with warm water (this was a first for us).In addition to the tent and RV sites, there are a few unique camping options that I want to mention. I don’t mean this as a negative in anyway — all the campers were very respectful. It has all the amenities you would expect, but it is the farthest out. The difference in height between the low tide and high tide is called the tidal range.Because of the shape and resonance of the Bay of Fundy, the tidal range can be anywhere between 29 and 52 feet (9 and 16 metres), and in some places the Bay of Fundy tides recede more than 3 miles (5 km) from shore, allowing you to walk along and explore the ocean floor. In fact, you can walk to town from the campground, which might be nice for some families. I was recently at a beach where the ride recedes to about 2km, but it must be amazing to walk along the floor of an ocean that goes out by 5km! Most, but not all have fire pits. Alma has a great beach for exploring during low tide and also a couple of grocery stores, a gas station, some gift shops, and a few bars and restaurants. All the campgrounds sound great, but I think I like the sound of Point Wolfe the best. thank you very much for the amazing article with great images.I would love for my son and I to stay at the Goutte d’Ô in Point Wolfe Campground. So crazy there are 550 to choose from. The whole trail winds through a steep-walled valley in the Acadian forest. We spent lots of time exploring here.– A leisurely walk (less than a mile round trip) through the forest and along a boardwalk from the campground to the covered bridge.
